If you’re anything like me, the end of January often feels a little bit foggy, a little bit in between. The year no longer brand new, yet nothing feels particularly clear. Not lost exactly — just unfolding. If that’s where you find yourself, you’re not alone — let’s lean in.
There’s often an unspoken idea that by now we should have direction, or at least a sense of momentum. But clarity doesn’t always arrive neatly or on schedule. Sometimes it takes a little wandering — not in circles, but in curiosity. Not pushing forward, not standing still, just allowing ourselves to feel our way into what might be coming next.
Often misunderstood. It can look like hesitation from the outside, but inside it can be a deeply attentive state — one where we’re noticing what we’re drawn to, what keeps resurfacing, and what feels quietly true beneath the noise.
This has been landing for me recently through a podcast I’ve come across and can’t stop listening to: The Leadership and Yoga Podcast by Shawna Krueger. Shawna brings a depth and clarity that feels far beyond her years, not to mention a voice that is is truly HYPNOTIC!
Her LOST episode is musical-poetry, where she cleverly weaves voice and soundscape together. It’s been meeting me right where I am! Shawna describes it as “a sonic and poetic journey back to what’s real… not about fixing yourself, but about remembering your power, your softness, and your mission in a world that often forgets what matters most.”
Although rooted in yoga, this podcast speaks clearly to creatives, makers, leaders, and anyone navigating uncertainty or transition — in fact, really, all humans! Listen to the episode here
Yoga can quietly support us in our lives — not by providing answers, but by helping us create internal space. Through breath, movement, and time, the mind softens its grip and the body speaks more clearly. We begin to sense rather than analyse, and to recognise what feels right before we can explain why.
As January draws to a close, perhaps the invitation is simply to allow a little more room for not knowing. To let yourself wander without judgement, trusting that this space has its own intelligence.
“Some moments aren’t about figuring things out. They’re about staying close enough to yourself to hear what’s quietly forming.”
